'If you're so concerned, go fight in Iran...,' Sambhal Police warns before Eid

The police in Sambhal, India, issued a warning regarding maintaining peace during the upcoming Eid celebrations, advising locals not to let international issues affect local harmony.

Ahead of Eid celebrations, the Sambhal police in Uttar Pradesh convened a meeting to discuss maintaining peace and law and order during the upcoming Alvida Namaaz and Eid festivities. A police officer made it clear that ongoing international disputes should not disturb the peaceful atmosphere in India. The police emphasized that attempts to incite tension over international issues would not be tolerated, urging the community to remain calm and respectful of local sentiments.

The meeting, which was held at the Sambhal Kotwali police station, featured a video from the event that circulated on social media, showing Circle Officer Kuldeep Singh addressing the community. Singh noted that some individuals were becoming overly agitated about the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict, attempting to manipulate local sentiments. His message was clear: actions that disrupt communal harmony, especially concerning international disputes, were unacceptable.

In a notable remark, Singh suggested that if people were so passionate about the conflict in Iran, they should consider going there to fight instead of creating unrest locally. This statement reflects the police's intensified approach to dealing with any potential disturbances during a time traditionally marked by celebration and gathering within the community. The police's proactive stance aims to ensure that both the Alvida Namaaz and Eid take place peacefully without the influence of external conflicts.
