The DYPA as a reference point in the European employment network
The Public Employment Service (DYPA) of Greece has emerged as a key reference in the European employment services network, recognized for its expertise and modern tools that connect businesses and workers.
The Public Employment Service of Greece (DYPA) has garnered recognition as a significant player within the European public employment services network due to its advanced expertise and innovative tools designed to bridge the gap between businesses and job seekers. This acknowledgment is exemplified through the successful conclusion of the Mutual Assistance Project (MAP) aimed at assisting Portugal, an initiative of the European PES Network, which DYPA actively participated in via its Unit for Medium and Large Enterprises.
The selection of DYPA by the PES Network was based on its remarkable performance during the Benchlearning evaluation for the years 2024-2025, where it demonstrated exceptional outcomes in employer strategies and services. This impressive ranking highlights the organizational competencies of DYPA and its ongoing commitment to investing in modern tools that enhance labor market connectivity. Such achievements underscore the importance of effective public employment services in addressing unemployment and fostering stronger labor markets across Europe.
The collaboration involved in the MAP project highlights the importance of international cooperation among public employment services. DYPA’s active engagement not only strengthens Greece's position within Europe but also emphasizes the essential role these services play in improving employment outcomes. As DYPA continues to leverage its expertise and network connections, it sets a precedent for how public employment services can adapt and thrive in the dynamic landscape of the European labor market.
