Value Bar Ebersberg: Pop-up Choir Celebrates Premiere
A pop-up choir event in Ebersberg invites everyone to join in singing without the need for prior experience.
The pop-up choir event at the Mehrwertkneipe, located in the old cinema of Ebersberg, is set to premiere on Saturday, March 14th. Led by Mimi Neumair and Lukas Mario Maier, the initiative aims to engage the community in a fun, inclusive environment where anyone—regardless of age or musical background—can participate. The evening's performance will feature the song 'Englishman in New York' by Sting, with sheet music and lyrics provided on-site to facilitate participation.
The concept has proven successful in other locations like Freising and Munich, where the participatory format has drawn in diverse groups of people eager to sing together. The organizers emphasize that no prior musical experience is required, fostering a relaxed atmosphere conducive to creative expression. Enthusiastic about this debut in Ebersberg, Neumair expressed excitement at the idea of sharing the joy of singing with both familiar and new faces and hopes to create memorable experiences through music.
The event opens its doors at 7 PM, with the singing commencing an hour later. Participants can enjoy homemade Panini and refreshments while enjoying the event, turning a simple choir session into a community gathering filled with music and good company. Additional reservations and information are available on the local cultural website, highlighting the initiative's role in promoting local culture and community engagement.
