16-year-old 'Mr. Killer' found guilty of coordinating murder attempts
A 16-year-old Swedish boy, using the alias 'Mr. Killer', has been found guilty of coordinating multiple murder attempts in Denmark while residing in Spain.
A young Swedish teenager, known by his online aliases 'Mr. Killer' and 'The Godfather', has been convicted by a Danish court for his role in organizing murder attempts within Denmark from abroad. On Thursday morning, a unanimous jury in the Copenhagen City Court found the 16-year-old guilty of involvement in two specific murder attempts and one incident involving the use of a hand grenade in a kiosk. His activities, conducted from Spain, included directing hired criminals while using a secured communication system.
The case highlights the methodical planning that went into a failed assassination attempt in July 2024 at a kiosk in Amager, where the accused was responsible for maintaining contact with a hired criminal and providing instructions. However, the plan fell apart when the shooter was arrested before he could carry out the attack. A second murder attempt was attempted at Blågårds Plads in Nørrebro, where he directed a young accomplice to shoot a man with a tattoo linked to a criminal gang. This attempt also failed, as the gun was fired without hitting the intended target.
Additionally, the conviction includes the coordination of a hand grenade explosion at SOL Kiosk in Østerbro on August 6, 2024, which resulted in injuries but thankfully no fatalities. Although he faced multiple charges, the court's nuanced ruling also noted that some charges were dismissed, indicating the complexity of the case and the actions of this young mastermind of organized criminal attempts in a foreign land.
