Ewanderson João da Silva, 37, has been sentenced to 26 years and 8 months in prison for the brutal murder of his ex-girlfriend, Simone Cosme Menezes, who was 42, inside the non-profit organization where she was employed. The violent act occurred in January 2025 in the Sucupira neighborhood of Jaboatão dos Guararapes, close to Recife.
