The best gymnasts from Denmark, part of the renowned team Verdensholdet, are currently visiting Iceland to engage with local gymnastics clubs. This visit aims to provide insights and inspiration through workshops, performances, and training sessions. The Danish group, which consists of 28 members, has been traveling around the world over the past six months, highlighting their commitment to international exchange in gymnastics.

While in Iceland, they are particularly focused on collaborating with the Selfoss gymnastics club, where they have been providing guidance and conducting workshops. Linda Ósk Þorvaldsdóttir, a coach at the club, and Andrea Ýr Grímsdóttir, the chairperson of the Selfoss gymnastics department, expressed their enthusiasm about hosting such a prestigious team and the opportunities for local gymnasts to learn from the best in the field.

This initiative not only fosters skill development among Icelandic gymnasts but also emphasizes cultural exchange through sports.
