This decision, confirmed by the National Defense High Council and the Romanian Parliament, marks a significant step in military collaboration between the US and Romania. The agreement permits the US to refuel aircraft and deploy surveillance and satellite communication equipment at Romanian military bases, aimed at bolstering the country’s defense capabilities.
