The Polish Prosecutor's Office has filed an indictment against Michał Dworczyk, a former member of the Law and Justice party and head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, for failing to fulfill his official duties and obstructing investigations during the so-called email scandal. The charges pertain to the period from March 1, 2017, to December 18, 2017, during which Dworczyk served as Deputy Minister of National Defense and later as the head of the Prime Minister's Office. The prosecution alleges that he used an unverified and unsecured private email account for conducting official correspondence, undermining the responsibilities of his position.
