J. Stevenson's blow took down "Banga"

In a closely contested match, Jeudi Stevenson scored a header from a corner kick to secure victory for the Vilnius Region team against „Banga“, pushing them to third place in the standings.

During the first half of the match, the home team appeared to be more active, but both teams struggled to create significant scoring opportunities. Notably, the visiting team „TransINVEST“ was without Emmanuel Koff due to injury, while Misaki Sato also couldn't play for them. After the interval, the Vilnius region team began to take control intermittently, culminating in a critical play when a corner kick led to Jeudi Stevenson scoring in the 64th minute, leaving goalkeeper Volodymyr Krynski with no chance to save the goal.

Following the goal, „TransINVEST” attempted to respond with quick counterattacks and had two solid chances to double their lead. First, Artūras Žulpa struck the post with a shot, and in another instance, he sent the ball sailing over the crossbar. Despite these missed opportunities, the Vilnius Region team managed to maintain their advantage, reinforcing their position in the league.

With this victory, the Vilnius Region team climbed to third place with a total of seven points, while „Banga” now has one point less. This match highlights the competitive nature of the league and sets the scene for future fixtures where both teams will look to improve their standings amidst tough competition.
