On Tuesday, a serious accident occurred in Glonn when a tractor attached to a full manure tank overturned. According to a police report, the 19-year-old driver lost control of the vehicle on Zinneberger Straße for unknown reasons, causing the loaded tank to push the tractor off the road until it overturned into a ditch. The driver was able to free himself from the overturned tractor and sustained only minor injuries.

Emergency services were activated, including a helicopter that landed nearby, but the driver was subsequently transported by ambulance to a hospital. Part of the spilled manure was transferred to other tanks, and a farm machinery mechanic provided temporary repairs to the damaged tank to facilitate its towing. The overturned tractor was lifted upright by a crane for removal.

This incident highlights the dangers associated with operating heavy machinery, especially in rural areas where unforeseen accidents can lead to serious consequences. Authorities encourage operators to exercise caution and ensure that all safety protocols are followed, particularly when transporting heavy loads on public roads.
