A new strategic alliance is forming in Greece's port infrastructure and shipping sectors, as business groups AKTOR Group and ONEX Shipyards & Technologies join forces for the upcoming tender for the commercial exploitation of the Eleusis port. This initiative indicates both groups' intention to actively participate in shaping a new developmental model for the country's port infrastructure while simultaneously enhancing Greece's position on the international maritime transport and logistics map. According to a recent announcement by ONEX, the two business groups have signed an exclusive strategic cooperation agreement aimed at jointly participating in the impending competition for the commercial operation of Eleusis port, which will be announced by the Greek Public Holding Company.
