Upcoming weather changes. IMGW warns of storms
The IMGW forecasts increased cloudiness and potential storms in several regions of Poland this week.
According to the latest forecast from the IMGW, Poland is set to experience significant changes in weather starting Wednesday, with an increase in cloud cover, gusty winds, and sporadic rain. Some areas may even witness thunderstorms, while temperatures will remain warm, particularly in southern regions. Ground frost is only expected at night in the northeast and mountainous valleys.
For Wednesday and Thursday, the outlook suggests a mix of moderate to heavy cloudiness across the country, with the southeast having less cloud coverage. On the western front, localized rain is anticipated, with temperatures ranging from 13-15 degrees Celsius in the north and east, rising to as high as 19 degrees Celsius in the south. Coastal areas will experience cooler temperatures, especially in regions like Hel, where it is expected to drop to around 10 degrees Celsius. Winds are forecasted to be weak to moderate, although gusts may occur in mountainous areas.
Thursday will continue with overcast conditions for most of the country, although sunny intervals may occur at the edges of the Podkarpacie region. An important note for those planning outdoor activities is to be prepared for sudden weather changes and potential thunderstorms, emphasizing the need for vigilance and appropriate planning over the coming days as conditions evolve across the nation.
