In February 2024, Norway recorded the registration of 7,272 new passenger cars, reflecting an 18.7% decrease compared to the same month in the previous year, as reported by the Road Traffic Information Council (OFV). However, the electric vehicle (EV) market remains robust, with 98% of these new registrations consisting of electric cars. Geir Inge Stokke, director at OFV, indicated that while February's figures lagged behind last year, there are signs that the market is gradually recovering.
