In a tragic event on the night of Sunday, heavy rainfall in Nshanjare Town Council, located in Rubanda District, Uganda, triggered mudslides that caused extensive destruction across multiple villages. The disaster has claimed the life of Twinomujuni Deus, a resident of Bisizi Cell in Kivunga Ward, whose body was later recovered from a garden downstream where he was swept away by strong currents. The local community is grappling with the impact of this sudden natural disaster that not only took a life but also left behind devastated homes and properties.
