Judge denies amparo to Hernán 'N', alleged leader of 'La Barredora', against possible extradition to the US

A federal judge has denied an amparo sought by Hernán 'N', aimed at preventing his possible extradition to the United States due to a lack of formal extradition requests.

A federal judge in Mexico has ruled against Hernán 'N', also known as 'El Abuelo' and 'Comandante H', who is alleged to be the leader of the criminal group 'La Barredora'. The judge's decision came after 'N' filed an amparo to block his potential extradition to the United States, claiming that he had been informed by prison guards at the Federal Center for Social Readaptation No. 1 that there was an imminent risk of his transfer. However, Judge Daniel Marcelino Niño Jiménez found that there was no formal request for extradition or official notification from competent authorities, which led him to conclude that there was no specific action infringing upon Hernán 'N's rights.
