Poland has its first flight connection with Menorca. "Travelers find peace and authenticity here"
A new direct flight route from Warsaw, Poland, to Menorca, Spain, was announced during a conference hosted by the Spanish tourism office.
Today, a conference in Warsaw launched a new direct flight route from Poland to Menorca organized by the Spanish tourism office in collaboration with partners from Menorca and Wizz Air, which will operate the flights during the summer season from March to October. This marks the first regular connection from Poland to Menorca in history, highlighting the growing interest in travel between the two locations.
Marta Crespo Calzada, cultural attaché of the Spanish embassy in Warsaw, opened the conference by sharing statistics about Polish tourism in Spain. In 2025, 3.02 million Poles visited Spain, representing an increase of 23.6% compared to 2024, staying an average of 8.2 million nights, an 8.4% increase. Additionally, daily spending by Polish tourists rose significantly, indicating an upward trend in travel patterns and spending habits among this demographic.
The new flight connection aims to provide Polish travelers with access to Menorca's tranquil and authentic experiences, potentially boosting tourism in the region. With increasing travel from Poland to Spain and expectations for this route to facilitate further growth, both the tourism industry and local economies in Menorca and Poland stand to benefit from enhanced connectivity and the promotion of cultural exchange through this new venture.
