His monastic journey spanned nearly six decades, during which he devoted much of his time to the financial administration of the monastery. The monk's solemn vestition took place on December 11, 1966, and he made his religious profession on February 2, 1969. Brother Constâncio's long service to the monastery was characterized by his commitment to maintaining the organization and financial stability of the monastic community, contributing significantly to its endeavors over the years. His burial occurred on Monday, September 9, following a requiem mass celebrated at the abbey church. The community mourns the loss of a dedicated figure who played a vital role in the life of the Abbey of Santa Cruz.
