Channel 5 is gearing up for the premiere of a new birdwatching series titled 'Sam & Ade Go Birding', featuring the well-known actors Samuel West and Adrian Edmonson. This show, which has drawn comparisons to the popular fishing series 'Gone Fishing', will take the audience on a journey around Britain to discover and celebrate its beautiful birdlife.

In the series, the duo embarks on three adventurous weekends, each set in a different scenic location across the UK. Their travels include searching for Cornish Choughs in West Cornwall, chasing after Brent and Pink-footed geese in North Norfolk, and staking out Kingfishers and Egrets in the picturesque Somerset Levels. Unlike their typically scripted performances, the actors will showcase their birdwatching skills and knowledge in an unscripted format.

This show marks a significant shift for Edmonson, who is stepping away from his punk comedy roots in 'The Young Ones', embodying a more serene character as he quietly explores nature alongside his friend.
