Hezbollah targets Israeli Shimson base and military industries headquarters
Hezbollah launched extensive rocket attacks on Israeli military sites, including the Shimson base, in response to Israeli aggression.
On Tuesday, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for comprehensive rocket attacks aimed at various sites belonging to the Israeli military and military industrial plants, including an assault with drones on the strategic Shimson base. Sirens sounded in several northern Israeli settlements as the group reportedly carried out around 30 strikes that day. Hezbollah asserted that these attacks were a response to what they termed the Israeli aggression affecting numerous Lebanese cities and towns, as well as the southern suburb of Beirut.
Hezbollah's military action included targeting concentrations of Israeli forces in regions such as Wadi al-Asafir and the vicinity of the town of Adaisseh, underscoring the intensity of the conflicts in the region. They also claimed to have conducted drone strikes directly on the Shimson base near the Sea of Galilee, which Hezbollah characterized as a center for both leadership and regional operational readiness. The barrage of rockets also struck Israeli settlements such as Metula and Misgav Am, signaling a significant escalation in the conflict.
Furthermore, Hezbollah announced attacks on military facilities, including the Yodifat military industry in the area southeast of Acre and the Mishmar HaCarmel missile defense site near Haifa. This aggressive stance from Hezbollah reflects the ongoing tensions and volatility in the region, highlighting Israel's retaliatory operations in Lebanon and the broader geopolitical implications that may arise from this cycle of violence.
