In 2025, over 170,000 work permits issued: Most foreign workers from BiH, Nepal, and Serbia

The Ministry of Interior has released annual statistics indicating that Croatia issued 170,723 work and residence permits in 2025, primarily for workers from BiH, Nepal, and Serbia, mostly employed in tourism, hospitality, and construction, which reflects a decrease from 206,529 permits in 2024.
