A 37-year-old man has been taken into custody for four weeks after being charged with the kidnapping and attempted rape of a seven-month-old girl in Haderslev, Denmark. The incident began when the infant's stroller was reported missing from a location in the town's center on Monday evening. The police were alerted, and approximately one and a half hours later, they discovered the child in a hotel room, leading to the arrest of the suspect who had been linked to the disappearance.

During the preliminary court hearing that lasted over two hours, the charges against the man were expanded from kidnapping to include attempted rape of a minor under twelve.
