Stubb to Visit London Next Week

President Alexander Stubb of Finland will be visiting London next week as part of a working visit.

Finnish President Alexander Stubb is set to visit London from March 16 to 17 for a series of engagements aimed at promoting Finnish innovations and strengthening European cooperation. The visit will include a series of meetings and discussions with various institutions to highlight the contributions of Finland in areas such as bioeconomy and international policy.

During his visit, President Stubb will deliver a lecture at the London School of Economics and Political Science, where he will engage with experts in foreign policy and have discussions with students about 'balancing the new world order in an era of fragmentation'. He will also speak at Chatham House, addressing the theme of enhancing European collaboration amidst current geopolitical challenges.

Additionally, President Stubb and his spouse, Suzanne Innes-Stubb, will visit an exhibition showcasing Finnish innovations in forest bioeconomy, organized by the Finnish Forest Association in partnership with the Circular Bioeconomy Alliance and The King’s Foundation. This visit underscores Finland’s commitment to sustainable development and innovation in the bioeconomy sector.
