Czech Television will premiere a new season of the series 'Hidden Gems' on March 19, featuring actor Jaroslav Plesl as a guide to various historical and lesser-known sites across the country.

Starting March 19, Czech Television is set to air ten new episodes of the third season of the series 'Hidden Gems'. The show will once again be hosted by actor Jaroslav Plesl, who will introduce viewers to not only traditional historical landmarks but also unexpected or forgotten places. The first episode, directed by Petra Šelichová, will focus on Lipnice Castle, where Plesl's long-time friend Marek Hanzlík works as a curator. The series aims to educate viewers about national heritage while celebrating the diverse architectural history within the Czech Republic. The remaining nine half-hour episodes will take audiences to other notable sites including Dačice, Slatiňany, Karlovy Koruny, Valdštejn, Šternberk, Březnice, Světlé nad Sázavou, Plasy Monastery, and Zákup. This series is a collaboration between Czech Television, the National Heritage Institute (NPÚ), and the agency CzechTourism, highlighting the importance of cultural tourism and heritage preservation in the region.
