'Bihar has been betrayed, if you have the courage...,' Prashant Kishor attacks Nitish and BJP

Prashant Kishor accused Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of preparing to hand over power to his son Nishant Kumar while claiming the state's public is being deceived.

Prashant Kishor, the founder of the Jan Suraj Party, launched a fierce attack on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, alleging that Kumar is preparing to transfer power to his son, Nishant Kumar, before leaving office. Speaking during an event in Sasaram, Kishor emphasized that the people of Bihar are facing political betrayal, as many young individuals are compelled to seek work in states like Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, and Punjab, rather than finding opportunities at home. He criticized the prevailing culture of nepotism that he believes is being promoted by the current ruling entities.

Kishor highlighted the disconnection between the leadership and the public's struggles, stating that Bihar's citizens are being forced to send their children out of state for labor due to a lack of local job prospects. He pointed out that this situation is exacerbated by the political elites who prioritize family advancement over addressing the needs of the populace. This criticism comes at a time when discussions are emerging about a potential change in the Chief Ministerial face of the National Democratic Alliance, which he sees as a betrayal of the trust placed by voters in Nitish Kumar during the elections.

Lastly, Kishor welcomed Nishant Kumar to engage in politics, but he criticized the timing and manner in which power dynamics appear to be shifting within the political landscape, suggesting that such actions indicate a serious breach of the public mandate. By highlighting these issues, Kishor is rallying for accountability in Bihar's political structures and prompting the citizens to take a stand against what he describes as systemic injustice.
