Sebrae-SP opens registrations for the rural local innovation agents course with scholarships of up to R$ 6,500
Sebrae-SP has launched applications for a rural innovation agents program, offering scholarships of up to R$ 6,500 for participants.
Sebrae-SP, the Brazilian Service of Support to Micro and Small Enterprises, has opened registrations for its ALI (Agentes Locais de Inovação Rural) program, which aims to foster innovation in rural areas by supporting local producers. The initiative is particularly significant as it addresses the needs of small farmers and rural businesses across various cities in São Paulo state. With 812 available slots across cities like Sorocaba, Jundiaí, and Itapetininga, the program emphasizes the development of innovative solutions tailored for the agricultural sector.
The registration process will remain open until March 31, and interested candidates can apply through the program's website. The selection procedure involves an online application form, a general knowledge test, document verification, and an interview, ensuring that qualified candidates are chosen for the important role of local innovation agents. These agents are expected to provide crucial assistance to rural businesses, helping them implement new practices and technologies to enhance productivity.
Through the ALI Rural initiative, Sebrae-SP is addressing the gap in support for small producers, who often face difficulties in accessing resources and information that can boost their operations. By training Innovation Agents, the program aims to foster a culture of innovation within the rural economy, potentially leading to sustainable growth and improved quality of life for rural residents in São Paulo.
