Yobe governor gifts 17 APC local government chairmen new cars
The Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, has provided new Honda Accord vehicles to the APC chairmen of all 17 local government areas to enhance party activities.
Mai Mala Buni, the Governor of Yobe State, recently presented new Honda Accord vehicles to the chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from each of the state's 17 local government areas. This presentation took place at the party's state secretariat in Damaturu and was carried out by the Deputy Governor, Idi Barde Gubana. The move is part of an initiative aimed at bolstering party operations and enhancing grassroots mobilization within the APC across Yobe State.
During the vehicle handover, Deputy Governor Gubana emphasized the importance of utilizing these vehicles effectively to support the party's initiatives and programs at the local level. He urged the chairmen to remain dedicated to maintaining unity within the party, warning against actions that could lead to divisions. This call for unity is crucial as the APC prepares for upcoming electoral challenges, where coordinated grassroots efforts can significantly impact the party's performance.
Moreover, the governor's gesture can be seen as a strategic investment to strengthen the party's political presence and improve the cohesion among its members in Yobe State. By providing the chairmen with the necessary resources, the APC aims to ensure that its local leadership is well-equipped to rally support for its policies while fostering a sense of loyalty and commitment among party supporters. This initiative reflects the broader political strategy to enhance party solidarity ahead of elections and maintain the APC's influence in the region.
