Tiny houses, the new real estate trend designed as first homes for young people
Aldea Cero in Miramar offers tiny houses aimed at helping young people secure their first homes.
The real estate market is witnessing a new trend of offering alternative living arrangements, with Aldea Cero in Miramar being a prime example. This development features tiny houses, designed with small footprints, situated just seven blocks from the beach. Javier Monzón, one of the developers and an expert in this housing model in Argentina, emphasizes that the project isn't just a gated community or an investment opportunity, but rather aims to foster a sense of community while providing accessible housing options for the youth.
Covering a total area of 5000 m², Aldea Cero consists of 16 lots ranging from 295 to 400 m², where the tiny houses will be constructed on site and placed on elevated concrete pilings. This design approach is intended to minimize environmental impact and protect the land beneath. The houses are designed by architect Juan Pablo Porco, while engineer Diego Ramírez provides the necessary technical and structural support for the construction.
The tiny houses are modestly sized, ranging from 15 to 28 m², and represent a novel solution in the housing challenge faced by young people in Argentina. This initiative not only addresses housing shortages but also promotes sustainable living practices, making it an attractive option for newly independent individuals looking for their first homes.
