The incident allegedly occurred on March 7, when the puppy, belonging to a local resident named Karan, wandered into the cemetery while playing. Witnesses say that upon spotting the puppy, a group of men immediately captured it and began beating it mercilessly, causing significant distress to the animal.

Karan, the puppy's owner, heard its cries and became suspicious. He climbed onto the roof of a nearby building to film the distressing episode.
