His minor son, Shani Maurya, has lodged a complaint with local police to halt the impending marriage, highlighting the familial distress caused by his father's actions. Shani revealed that his father has previously been married six times, and his mother was Amarjit's third wife. After Amarjit’s sixth marriage in 2024, his wife left due to unmet demands for land and jewelry.
