The 'Sguardi Altrove Women's International Film Festival' launches today in Italy and runs until March 22. This year's 33rd edition features a remarkable lineup of 79 films from 22 countries, showcasing the richness and diversity of female-directed cinema. A new section dedicated to virtual reality films and a special focus on women, cinema, sports, and inclusion in collaboration with the Italian Paralympic Committee are highlights of the festival. Additionally, the event will honor the Franco-Senegalese filmmaker Alice Diop, who will be present with a selection of her films and a discussion at the Cinema Godard at Fondazione Prada on March 14.
