Electricity prices will be even cheaper on Tuesday

Tuesday will see lower electricity prices than Monday, with average prices dropping by nearly 45%.

On Tuesday, the average electricity price in the Nord Pool market's Estonia pricing area is set to be 44.89 euros per megawatt-hour, which marks a significant decrease of approximately 45% compared to Monday's rates. This drop in pricing is notable, especially considering the fluctuations that often occur in the electricity market. The lowest prices are expected during the night hours, specifically between 2:45 AM and 3 AM, when the price will drop to just 17.04 euros.

Conversely, the highest electricity costs on Tuesday will be incurred in the morning, particularly between 7:45 AM and 8 AM, where prices will surge to 146.70 euros per megawatt-hour. Such price peaks during high-demand periods reflect the dynamic nature of electricity pricing and market demand. The comparative context shows that electricity will be significantly more economical in Estonia when compared to neighboring Latvia and Lithuania, where prices will reach 85.52 euros per megawatt-hour, 90% higher than in Estonia.

In contrast, Finland will offer even lower prices compared to Estonia, at 31.11 euros per megawatt-hour, approximately 31% cheaper than Estonian rates. This regional comparison highlights the varying electricity market conditions within the Baltic region, emphasizing Estonia's relatively favorable pricing environment, while also showcasing the differences with its Nordic neighbor, Finland.
