Han Byeong-do, regarding the People Power Party's 'Save Yoon' resolution: 'A stopgap measure ahead of local elections... I question if it is a public party.'
Han Byeong-do criticized the People Power Party's resolution to oppose the political return of former President Yoon Suk-yeol, calling it a temporary measure before local elections.
Han Byeong-do, the floor leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, commented on the resolution adopted by the People Power Party to apologize for the December 3rd martial law and to oppose the political return of former President Yoon Suk-yeol. He described it as merely a stopgap measure aimed at resolving immediate crises ahead of the local elections. In a meeting on the 10th, he questioned whether the People Power Party is a legitimate public party, arguing that Yoon, implicated in major crimes, should not be allowed a political comeback. He urged the People Power Party to take a clear stance on Yoon's actions, stating that the former president is a serious crime figure and should be appropriately condemned.
