In an interview with CBS News, Trump claimed that the war was practically over, stating that the United States was well ahead of the original timeline, which estimated the conflict would last 4-5 weeks. These comments alleviated market fears of a prolonged conflict, resulting in a sharp decline in oil prices and a surge in stock prices, with Brent crude oil dropping significantly from a high of $119.50 per barrel to $98.96 by the end of the day.
However, after the stock markets closed, Trump appeared to shift his stance during a speech to Republican Congress members at his golf club in Doral, Florida. He claimed that while the US had achieved numerous victories, more decisive actions were needed to ensure a definitive success that would put an end to the
