The incident happened when the unidentified rider jumped from the motorcycle as it approached a decline in the road, causing the passenger to collide with a truck traveling along the same route. Emergency services confirmed the passenger died on the scene as a result of the impact.
The police reported that following the collision, the truck driver initially left the scene but later voluntarily returned to speak with officers. He was taken into custody to undergo necessary legal proceedings.
