Axé Running, the circuit created by Bell Marques and sons

The Axé Running circuit, launched by musician Bell Marques and his sons, has expanded significantly, with plans to host 30 events across Brazil this year.

The Axé Running circuit, which was initiated in January of last year to promote the supplementation business of popular axé music star Bell Marques and his family, has experienced notable growth and recognition. Initially featuring 5 km and 10 km races leading up to performances by Bell's sons, Rafa and Pipo, the events have spread to all the state capitals of the Northeast of Brazil, alongside cities such as Belém, Brasília, and Goiânia, showcasing the circuit's wide appeal and integration with Brazilian culture.

Following successful repeat events in Salvador and Fortaleza, the circuit is scheduled to expand southward, with upcoming races in Vitória and Rio de Janeiro in April, before returning to Brasília on May 1st. The races have garnered significant participation, with approximately 15,000 registrants in João Pessoa last November, which underscores the event's capacity to attract large crowds reminiscent of Brazil's famous street festivals.

Pipo Marques, now 32, highlighted the ambition to host 30 racing events this year, reflecting the growing trend of combining sporting activities with entertainment, especially in a country where festivities like Carnival draw massive crowds. By establishing this expanding running circuit, the Marques family not only promotes fitness but also strengthens their brand in the culturally rich landscape of Brazilian music and lifestyle.
