A man has been arrested in Belém for the sexual exploitation of a vulnerable individual, specifically an 11-year-old boy. The incident occurred shortly after the suspect purchased a television from the boy's uncle, who is a street vendor. According to the Civil Police, the boy, frightened and traumatized, reported to the police that a stranger had assaulted him shortly after the sale of the television.

The investigation revealed that after buying the television, the suspect asked the boy to assist him in carrying it to his home. During this interaction, he committed sexual acts against the child. The boy bravely reported that the man even offered him money and expressed intentions to contact him again. The authorities acted quickly, apprehending the suspect at the weekend, with the announcement of the arrest being made public on Monday by the specialized police department focused on children's issues.
