A 33-year-old man was arrested by the Military Police in Ubá, Brazil, after he assaulted his girlfriend during an argument, inflicting injuries with punches and kicks. The incident occurred on the evening of Saturday (7) in the Santa Edwiges neighborhood, prompting a police response following reports of domestic violence. After the attack, the assailant fled the scene armed with a firearm.

During patrols to find the suspect, police received tips indicating that he was hiding in a nearby apartment. Upon searching the indicated premises, police discovered the man concealed between the plaster ceiling and the roof. In addition to the suspect, a 31-year-old woman was also arrested at the location for allegedly assisting him in evading capture.
