The incident occurred on the evening of Saturday (7) in the Santa Edwiges neighborhood, prompting a police response following reports of domestic violence. After the attack, the assailant fled the scene armed with a firearm.
During patrols to find the suspect, police received tips indicating that he was hiding in a nearby apartment. Upon searching the indicated premises, police discovered the man concealed between the plaster ceiling and the roof. In addition to the suspect, a 31-year-old woman was also arrested at the location for allegedly assisting him in evading capture. A .38 caliber revolver was seized during the arrest, which highlights the serious nature of the situation and the potential danger the suspect posed.
