Expoagro 2026 kicks off in San Nicolás, Argentina, marking its 20th anniversary with record attendance and a focus on agribusiness innovation amidst global price volatility.

From March 10 to 13, the San Nicolás fairgrounds will once again become the capital of Argentine agriculture as it hosts Expoagro 2026, the most significant open-air agro-industrial show in the region. Celebrating its 20th anniversary, this year’s exhibition features a record number of participants, a packed agenda of activities, and a proposal that intertwines technology, knowledge, financing, and innovation for the entire agribusiness chain. This showcase highlights not only the agricultural strength of Argentina but also aims to address emerging challenges in the sector.

The institutional agenda is set to be intense from the outset, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony expected to feature prominent figures such as governors Maximiliano Pullaro (Santa Fe) and Rogelio Frigerio (Entre Ríos), former president Mauricio Macri, and Agriculture Secretary Sergio Iraeta. Their attendance underscores the significance of the event in the national agricultural landscape, as well as the prominence of financial leaders like the presidents of Banco Nación and Banco Provincia, Darío Wasserman and Juan Cuattromo, highlighting the critical role of financing in agriculture.

Amid rising global tensions, particularly due to the war in the Middle East, the fair serves as a crucial platform for addressing the volatility in agricultural prices. Participants will engage in discussions around these challenges while exploring innovative solutions and advancements in technology to enhance productivity. As global markets fluctuate, Expoagro reaffirms the importance of collaboration and innovation in strengthening Argentina's agricultural sector for the future.
