In Volta Redonda, Brazil, a 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assaulting his 25-year-old girlfriend on Sunday, October 8. The incident occurred in the Aterrado neighborhood, where neighbors reported the situation to the local authorities through a WhatsApp group. Upon arrival, agents from the Municipal Secretariat of Public Order (Semop) discovered the victim outside a residence with visible signs of assault. The police then transported both parties to the Specialized Police Station for Women's Assistance in Volta Redonda (Deam) to formally record the incident.
