Man who was stabbed in square by homeless person dies in the interior of SP

Paulo Donizetti, aged 62, was fatally injured after being stabbed during an altercation with a homeless man in Praça Barão, located in the center of Araras, São Paulo. The incident occurred on Sunday, where Donizetti was rushed to Santa Casa hospital in critical condition, where he later succumbed to his wounds. His attacker, identified as Flávio Silva dos Santos, was apprehended shortly after the event on April 4.
The Municipal Guard reported the timing of the incident to be around 15:50, highlighting the serious nature of the altercation that erupted in what should be a public space. Medical teams from the Mobile Emergency Service were deployed to swiftly transport Donizetti to the intensive care unit of the hospital, where he received immediate attention but unfortunately did not survive. Santa Casa confirmed his death to reporters following the incident.
