Collision between school bus and interprovincial bus causes heavy traffic on the road to Daule

On Monday morning, a school transportation bus collided with an interprovincial bus on the highway to Daule, near kilometer 24, which connects the canton of Daule with northwestern Guayaquil. The accident, occurring before 7:30 AM, led to extensive traffic congestion in the area as vehicles were caught up in the aftermath of the collision. The school bus reportedly sustained damage to its front, with a damaged windshield being among the visible impacts, while the interprovincial bus used for the Pedro Carbo-Guayaquil route was affected at the rear.
