The state of Alagoas has announced that there are currently 2,247 job vacancies with formal contracts available for the week. These vacancies are spread across various municipalities including Maceió, Porto Calvo, Porto de Pedras, Maragogi, Santa Luzia do Norte, São Miguel dos Campos, and Pilar, with a variety of 55 different positions on offer. The job market shows significant activity, especially in the services sector, which has more than 1,000 openings, followed by the agriculture sector with around 800 vacancies, and the construction sector with approximately 250 jobs available.
The state employment agency, Sine Alagoas, has emphasized the importance of these job opportunities for local workers, including a specific section for people with disabilities (PcD). Interested candidates are encouraged to visit one of the 12 service units of Sine with their identification documents to register, submit resumes, and inquire about available jobs.
