On March 9, the National Social Security Administration (Anses) in Argentina starts its payment schedule for pensions and retirement benefits for the month. This payment distribution includes pensions and retirements that do not exceed the minimum amount, along with non-contributory pensions (PNC).

In March, there is a monthly adjustment of 2.88% applied to these pensions, which aligns closely with the 2.9% inflation recorded in January. Such adjustments are recalibrated monthly, recognizing the increment percentages in consumer prices with precision that contributes to maintaining the purchasing power of retirees and pensioners.

This increase also affects the minimum contributory pension amount, reflecting ongoing efforts by the government to address inflation's impact on disposable income for retirees. By updating pension amounts based on inflation, Anses aims to ensure that vulnerable segments of the population receive adequate support amidst economic challenges.
