Uuno the floppy-eared cat from Raplamaa is looking for a home: he may not be a purebred Scottish Fold, but his ears are just as wonderful

A floppy-eared cat named Uuno, recently rescued from Raplamaa, Estonia, is in search of a permanent home after being fostered by a local rescue organization.

Uuno, a playful kitten with distinctive floppy ears, has only recently been rescued from the streets of Raplamaa where the problem of stray cats has been persistent. While he is not a registered Scottish Fold breed, his unique ears and charming demeanor make him quite appealing. Currently under the care of Pets Help, Uuno is seeking a nurturing foster or forever home, as he adapts to human companionship at his own pace.

Although Uuno is still shy around people, he is exhibiting signs of trust as he learns to navigate his new environment. Potential adopters should be mindful that he is still overcoming his past experiences and require patience and a calm home atmosphere. Ideally, having an older, friendly cat could help Uuno feel more secure and comfortable in adjusting to life outside of the streets.

Having already received veterinary care, Uuno has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, with age estimates placing him under one year. However, he is currently confined to a small quarantine cage, which may add stress, so finding a suitable permanent or foster home as quickly as possible is crucial for his well-being.
