Record Year for Solaris

In 2025, Solaris delivered 1,631 buses, achieving a 28% increase in revenues driven by a higher share of zero-emission models.

Solaris, a leading bus manufacturer in Poland, delivered a record total of 1,631 buses in 2025, with the deliveries accelerating in the second half of the year. The company experienced a significant revenue growth of 28%, reaching 1.183 million euros, which is attributed to a 7% increase in deliveries. The revenue growth outpaced the delivery increase primarily due to the rising share of zero-emission models, which are generally more expensive than traditional combustion-engine versions. By the end of the year, zero-emission models accounted for 79% of the company’s sales, up from 65% the previous year.

In terms of order structure, electric models represented 65%, while record numbers of trolleybuses accounted for 16%, and hybrid buses made up 7%. The total of electrified versions constituted 91% of Solaris's production, increasing from 86% last year and 83% two years prior. This trend reflects the broader industry shift towards sustainable transport solutions, aligning with the European Commission’s roadmap that mandates all urban buses to be zero-emission by 2035.

The growth trajectory of Solaris not only showcases the company’s success but underscores the broader transformation in public transportation where electric and zero-emission vehicles are becoming increasingly vital. The logistics sector is also on the verge of an automation boom, with specialists forecasting various types of robots to play a key role in this evolution. Thus, Solaris's achievements are emblematic of significant changes in the transportation and logistics landscape towards more sustainable and technologically advanced solutions.
