Man Unconscious in Car Later Dies; 37-Year-Old Man Arrested on Assault Charges

A 37-year-old man has been arrested for assault after a 36-year-old man, transported in his car, was found unconscious and later died from asphyxiation due to choking on his own vomit.

A tragic incident unfolded in Osaka, Japan, where a 36-year-old male was found unconscious inside a car and later pronounced dead at a hospital. The police conducted an autopsy and discovered signs of severe external force on the victim's abdomen, raising suspicions of homicide. The cause of death has been determined to be asphyxiation after choking on vomit, triggering an intensive investigation by local authorities.

On June 6, at approximately 3:15 PM, hospital staff alerted the Higashi police station about an unconscious man in a stationary vehicle near a hospital in Chuo Ward, Osaka. Upon investigation, it was determined that the 37-year-old suspect had brought the victim to the hospital shortly after 2:40 PM. The police report indicates that the suspect, who resides in Kagoshima Prefecture, and the deceased had previously worked together at a restaurant.

Following the investigation, authorities accused the suspect of assaulting the victim multiple times around 4:00 PM on June 5 in Kumamoto Prefecture. It has been reported that the suspect admitted to the assault and admitted to transporting the victim from Kyushu to Osaka.
