Rescue operations were led by Sami Pyykkö, who stated that the driver of the struck vehicle was rescued using specialized tools. The emergency team had to detach one side of the vehicle to safely remove the individual without causing additional harm, although Pyykkö confirmed that the person was not trapped inside the car.

The injured driver was transported for further examination by emergency medical services.
