PRF recovers vehicle registered as stolen in the Cristo Rei community, in Santarém
The Federal Highway Police (PRF) recovered a stolen vehicle in Santarém, Brazil, during a routine traffic stop.
On Sunday afternoon, the Federal Highway Police (PRF) successfully recovered a vehicle that had been reported as stolen in the Cristo Rei community of Santarém, located in the western region of Pará, Brazil. The incident occurred around 4 PM on the Santarém-Curuá-Una highway, during regular inspections being conducted by PRF officers. Upon observing a suspicious vehicle, the agents conducted checks through their systems, which confirmed the vehicle's stolen status.
Following the identification of the stolen vehicle, PRF officers maintained surveillance before safely conducting a stop in the Cristo Rei community. The driver was informed about the situation and subsequently taken to the 16th Urban Police Station, where the appropriate legal proceedings were set into motion. The recovered vehicle was also transported to the police station for further processing and documentation.
