The South East Jutland Police reported that a total of six individuals are charged in relation to this case, and during their initial court appearance, all defendants pleaded not guilty according to reports by Ritzau.

Among those detained, a 25-year-old man is specifically suspected of committing the murder, while a 35-year-old man is presumed to have aided in the crime. Police have also announced that three other detainees—a 19-year-old woman, a 52-year-old woman, and a 61-year-old man—are being held for an additional three days, providing the police with extra time to gather evidence prior to their potential release.
