Success of an extraordinary dog from Kaunas at the International Dog Show in Vilnius
An impressive international dog show in Vilnius featured over 1600 dogs competing, culminating in prestigious awards for several breeds.
The International Dog Show held in Vilnius at the Litexpo Exhibition and Congress Centre featured three distinct dog shows organized by the Lithuanian Canine Society: 'Vilnius Spring,' 'Lithuanian Winner,' and 'Vilnius Cup.' Over the course of three days, more than 1,600 dogs of various breeds, including rare ones such as the American Hairless Terrier and the Danish Spitz, were evaluated by international judges from multiple countries including Ireland, Germany, Denmark, Croatia, Estonia, Poland, Romania, Hungary, and Lithuania.
On the first day, the title of the most beautiful dog was awarded to a Leonberger named CH FAITHFUL AMIGO PEGASUS, bred by Estonian breeders. The following day, the title went to a Spanish Water Dog named CH POMPKINS AUTHENTIC CHARM, a remarkable win for the mother-daughter duo of Finnish breeders Sini Hellman and Maire Kurkinen. The final day saw a Siberian Husky, CH MC QUINN'S DARING DOM PERIGNON, take the prize for the most beautiful dog, highlighting the variety and talent present at the show.
This event not only showcased the passion and dedication of dog breeders and enthusiasts but also enhanced Vilnius's reputation as a host for international canine events. The successes of these exceptional dogs reflect the high standards within the dog breeding community and the growing significance of such competitions in promoting various dog breeds across Europe.
